Jessica Wright joined the City of Spencer team in April, 2021. Jessica is originally from California, where she studied Business Administration, Management & Operations at CSUC. She has close to thirty years of experience in private sector business & human resource management, leadership and operations. Jessica is a Certified Crucial Conversations Trainer, and works across the city organization on staff relations, communication & development. The Human Resources Director is responsible for recruiting, hiring, personnel policy development, worker's compensation administration, staff development & training, employment regulatory compliance, performance management, benefit administration and other duties as assigned by the City Manager and/or City Council.
