Effective immediately, the proclamation allows state resources to be utilized to respond to and recover from the effects of this severe weather and activates the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program and the Disaster Case Advocacy Program.

The City of Spencer is in a Flash Flood Watch until the morning of Wednesday July 30th.  Conditions are favorable for localized heavy rain across Northwest Iowa.  Localized residential street flooding is possible with this system.  Please monitor local forecasts and stay weather aware.
