Emerald Ash Borer Confirmed in Clay County

On March 21, 2022, the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship issued a press release that announced Emerald Ash Borer had been found in Clay County for the first time.  On April 27th, the City of Spencer hosted a public informational meeting regarding Emerald Ash Borer and options available to the public in dealing with this pest.  In order to assist citizens with finding information about Emerald Ash Borer, treatment options, and other questions, the City has established an Emerald Ash Borer Resources page.  That website can be accessed on the Parks Department Home page of the City's website as well as clicking the button below.   This site will be updated with new information as it comes available.
