FY 24 Max Tax Levy Hearing

The City Council will conduct a public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year City Tax Levy on April 3, 2023 at 6:30 PM in the Council Chambers at Spencer City Hall.  At the public hearing any resident or taxpayer may present objections to, or arguments in favor of the proposed tax levy.  After adoption of the proposed tax levy, the City Council will publish notice and hold a hearing on the proposed city budget.  The Total Tax Levy show in this notice is NOT the full city tax levy, but only a portion of it, as required by State Law.
